एक कविता आवडलेली

ही कविता मला इंटरनेट वर सापडली... खुप आवडली म्हणुन इथे लिहून ठेवतेय।

i run my fastet
but i still get beat.
i land on my head
when i should be on my feet.

i try to move forward,
but i'm stuck in rewind.

why do i keep at it??
i wont be left behind.
the harder i'm thrown,
the higher i bounce.
i give it my all,
and that's all that counts.

in first place,myself,
i seldom find.
so i push to the limit-
i wont be left behind.

some poeple tell me
you can'tsome say don't.
some simply give up.
i reply,i won't.

the power is here,
locked away in my mind.
my perseverance is my excellence,
i won't be left behind.

make the best of each moment,
the future is soon the past.
the more i tell myself this,
the less i come in last.

throughout my competitions,
i've learned what winning is about.
a pain and clear lesson-
giving up is the easy way out.

so every night before i go to bed,
i hope in a small way i've shined.
tomorrow is a brand-new day,
and i wont be left behind.

स्फुर्ती...

दोनदा ब्लॉग सुरु करूनही काहीच न लिहिणारी मी यावेळी मात्र नियमित लिहिण्याचा प्रयत्न करणार आहे। मला स्फूर्ती देणारी व्यक्ति आहे माझे प्रिय मैत्रिण सोनल देखणे। तिचा ब्लॉग तिच्या नावासारखाच देखणा आहे :)। तिचा ब्लॉग वाचला आणि पुन्हा एकदा लिहावास वाटल। Thanks Sonal for inspiring me.
हे पान सोनलसाठी आणि आमच्या पुन्हा गवसलेल्या मैत्रीसाठी ।

सोनल बद्दल काय लिहू... तिचा आणि माझा सहवास अवघा दोन अडीच महीन्याचा होता। तिचे दिसणे, राहणे , वागणे सगळच कसे देखणं होतं। आजही जेव्हा मला जोग क्लासेसचे ते दिवस आठवतात तेव्हा सोनल डोळ्यासमोर आल्याशिवाय राहत नाही । हो आणि प्राची आणि सोनालीच नाव घेतल्याशिवाय या आठवणी पूर्ण होणार नाहीत। प्राची आणि सोनल ओर्कुटवर मिळाल्यात आणि कितीतरी आठवणीना उजाळा मिळाला.
